I would like to introduce a quick snack cheat sheet. Eating healthy can be difficult, and reaching for something easy is usually preferred over choosing something healthy. It is important to maintain a healthy diet to prevent health problems. Women are more prone to certain health problems such as heart disease, type 2 diabetes, obesity and certain cancers. Other reasons for choosing nutrient rich foods is to get that young look.


Letā€™s begin, snacks could be simple to throw together, with a little planning and prep. This is the planning part; we will have quick go-to snacks.


Breakfast Toast

-Nutella, bananas, walnuts

-Peanut butter and bananas

-Strawberry and cream cheese


Baked Apple Chips

Ingredients:
  • Sliced apples
  • Cinnamon
  • Sugar

Bake at 200Ā°F for one hour. 

Flip and bake one more hour.


Cucumber Strawberry Salad

Ingredients:

6 cups baby spinach

4 baby cucumbers sliced.

1 cup hulled and quartered strawberries.

Ā½ cup crumbled feta cheese

Ā½ tablespoon chopped fresh mint


Dressing:

-ā…“ cup olive oil

-ā…“ cup balsamic vinegar

-1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

-1 tablespoon honey

Pinch of salt


Flat Belly Smoothie

-1 cup spinach

-1 cup frozen raspberries

-Ā½ cup pineapple

-1 cup almond milk


Sunset Smoothie

-Ā½ pound frozen mango

-Ā½ pound frozen pineapple

-Ā½ pound frozen strawberries

-Ā¼ cup orange juice

Water Inclusions

Mint, Watermelon, Strawberry, Lime

Cucumber, Mint, Strawberries


I like to put frozen fruits into my water and add some lemon and honey. Even if you use sugar, this is probably healthier, and less sugar than you would usually find in sodas or fruit drinks.
